About Us

1. Mission

We, The Black and Asian Alliance Network strive to build a coalition of mutual aid between Black and Asian communities around the globe to fight and break the cycle of our shared and unique systemic oppressions and all other oppressed identities and intersectionalities.

We acknowledge that oppression thrives when it is able to pit and wedge Black, Brown, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) communities against one another, by using harmful devices that comparatively privilege light skinned Asian and African Diaspora against other Black, Brown, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) communities.

Accomplishing our mission includes fighting and dismantling our oppressions at the same time building our communities through the empowerment and inclusion of all political ideologies, discussions, dialogues, events, and resource-sharing in a brave new space.

2. Vision

To co-create individual and collective liberation within our Black and Asian Communities, giving way to the global emergence of a new culture of healing, exchange and appreciation.
